Most months our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists will be offering Support Group Meetings on the days and times below:

Groups are virtual and occur through the Patient Portal using the Zoom platform. A nutrition visit with a registered dietitian is a covered service for ~95% of patients. For the ~5% of patients whose insurance may not cover the charge, the out-of-pocket cost will be $42-$66. For billing inquiries, please contact our Patient Financial Experience team directly. - 1st week of the month - Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- 2nd week of the month - Thursday from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- 3rd week of the month - Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- 4th week of the month - Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. -- Canceled in May

Wait times are typically less than 5 minutes.**
***Do not call the General Surgery Call Center to schedule Support Groups!***
You are required to participate for the full 90 minute session AND set a goal to fulfill the bariatric support group requirement.
Michigan Medicine Bariatric Support Groups are only available for patients participating in the Michigan Medicine Adult Bariatric Surgery program.
